Porto Business School

Porto Business School promotes a culture of experimentation and creates the conditions for successful change. We embrace and prepare for change, in the future, by inspiring, guiding and supporting companies and individuals to make change happen.

Based in the city of Porto, Portugal, an important centre of Industry and Entrepreneurship with a global outlook, Porto Business School was created by a group of 39 organisations, some of them multinational, and the University of Porto. This blend of the Executive pragmatism and experience with the Academic rigor, research and access to leading edge technology, makes us quite unique in the world of business schools and gives us a particular ability to unleash the potential of making change happen throughout the lives of individuals or organisations with whom we work.

As a business school set up by business and for business, we believe to have a unique DNA. So, in our classrooms, we do not teach business recipes. We do not provide answers but instead, we raise questions. In doing so, we help thinking critically and finding solutions. We help identify future challenges, rethink strategies under different scenarios and develop new competencies that will be required to achieve results in the future new context

Career sessions, job market and recruitment process sessions, speed recruitment/flash interviews, group dynamics, study cases and challenges.

PERSONAL MARKETING TOOLS WORKSHOPS

Workshops on career management, job market, job approach strategies, online presence (Linkedin, Personal Brand, Pitch Communicating Value, Personal Image…), mock interviews and recruitment processes simulations.

 

MENTORING PROGRAMME

Connect students (mentees) with recognized merit professionals (mentors), to jointly evaluate career possibilities, potential paths and interlocutors.
